What is organic cotton and why is it important?
Organic cotton is grown from non-GMO seed and cultivated without synthetic pesticides, insecticides, or herbicides. That cleaner process makes the finished fabric gentler on sensitive skin and kinder to the planet.
Conventional GMO cotton, by contrast, relies on chemical inputs that can endanger farm workers, surrounding communities, wildlife, and waterways.
Choosing organic also supports farmers’ well-being and livelihoods: they aren’t exposed to toxic sprays, and healthy soil lets them rotate food crops alongside cotton.
Are your products safe for newborns?
Yes. Details are embroidered. They don't contain loose or plastic parts. Our plushies are individually tested for safety compliance.
Orders
Why are products available for “preorder”?
Blu the Baby Crab is part of our first production run. Pre-orders help us reach the factory’s minimum order so we can produce ethically and sustainably without excess inventory.
When is the preorder deadline?
We must hit our MOQ by October 31, 2026.
If we don’t reach our goal, your order will be canceled and you’ll automatically receive a full refund in November.
When will I be charged for my preorder?
You will be charged at checkout. This secures your place in the production queue.
Can I cancel my preorder before production?
Yes. Email hello@cottonkeeps.com with your order number and we’ll issue a 100% refund.
When will I receive my preorder plush?
Production starts once we hit the goal. Fulfillment is 60–90 days after production begins.
We must hit our MOQ by October 31, 2026. If we don’t reach our goal, your order will be canceled and you’ll automatically receive a full refund in November.
What is your refund policy?
At this time, Cotton Keeps does not accept returns or exchanges.
We are a small business working hard to deliver heirloom-quality, ethically made items and each order is carefully inspected before shipping. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll do our best to make it right.
